If this was one iPhone apps category you weren’t blessed with, you can smile now. Yes iPhone users can now use VNC through iPhone. Mocha VNC provides access to a VNC Server. Using your iPhone, you can connect to a Windows PC or Mac OS X and see the files, programs, and resources exactly as you would if you were sitting at your desk, just on a smaller screen.

FEATURES

  • Standard VNC protocol with encrypted password signon
  • 8 and 32 bit color modes
  • Local Mouse support
  • Zoom and scroll as the Safari browser
  • Landscape mode
  • Can handle 20 different Host configurations
  • Has been tested with RealVNC, TightVNC, UltrVNC on Windows, and Apple Remote Management which is included with the Mac OS X.
  • A screen resolution larger than 2000×2000, as to memory and speed, is not recommended.

Now Let me put some delightful screen-shots techtalk.teumim.com

Here I connected to my MacBook Pro. I am viewing the desktop from my iPhone.

I just opened finder and am looking at some files.
I opened iTunes. Displaying my kids' Sesame Street Podcasts.

I start watching Sesame Street. Jonah talking about his mustache. It's kind of choppy, and the sudden sound blasting from the MacBook Pro in the other room gives my wife a fright. Like other remote admin software, Mocha VNC doesn't support audio.
Linux man at heart, let's take a look at good old top in terminal.
