LONDON - US President Barack Obama is on the look out for a social media expert to manage and update his MySpace, Facebook and Twitter pages.

The politician’s present ghost tweeter is believed to be resigning from the post and so the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is set to employ a “social networks manager”.

The job application warns the candidate must be “ready to work hard; this isn’t a 9-5 sort of job”, reports Sky News.

It adds the person must have “strong organising and campaigning instincts; you can craft messages that move people to act, and you know what actions will achieve the right impact at the right time”.

The manager is expected to take charge of pages for both the DNC and the Organising for America group, an organisation that takes care of Obama’s agenda at a local level. (ANI)
