AOL hires senior VP for advertising
NEW YORK — AOL LLC said Tuesday it has hired Shashi Seth from software maker Cooliris Inc. for the position of senior vice president of global advertising.
AOL, which is preparing a spinoff from parent company Time Warner Inc., said Seth will report to Jeff Levick, the company’s president of global advertising and strategy.
Before moving to Cooliris, where he served as chief revenue officer, Seth headed Google Inc.’s efforts to make money with YouTube.
