Correction: Eyes in the Sky story

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. — In an Aug. 14 story about government usage of satellite and aerial surveillance, The Associated Press reported the New York Civil Liberties Union has filed lawsuits opposing the New York Police Department’s Real Time Crime Center, which uses satellite images and other mapping technologies to develop intelligence on crime patterns. The NYCLU has filed lawsuits seeking further information, but has not said it opposes the program.
