EMS Technologies receives order worth $5.4M

ATLANTA — EMS Technologies Inc. said Friday it received an order valued at $5.4 million from Raytheon Co. for radar front-end switch assemblies for a weapon system designed to defeat missile attacks.

The company said it plans to start deliveries in February 2011 and continue through 2013.

Shares of EMS rose 39 cents, or 2.6 percent, to $15.18 in afternoon trading.
