Weatherford International Ltd., down 91 cents to $16.07
A Jefferies analyst downgraded the oil services company, citing the threat of a pending Foreign Corrupt Practices Act settlement.
DirecTV Inc., down $1.18 to $33.50
A Goldman Sachs analyst downgraded the stock to “hold” from “buy,” saying that most good news about the company is already priced into the stock.
Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., up 6 cents to $6.03
Activist shareholder Carl Icahn launched an all-out bid to take over the movie studio following disagreements over its spending.
Lloyds Banking Group PLC, up 31 cents to $3.72
The part-nationalized bank said it expects a profit this year as trading has been strong and provisions for bad assets are not as large as previously forecast.
