Raw Opinions on India Today 9/21/2007

Some raw unfiltered opinions on India today:

On cricket:
1. 20/20 cricket is a joke. I have a better idea: 5/5 cricket and there should be no fielders except the wicketkeeper to fetch the ball and the bowler. And give the bat to lathi-wielding cops. It will be much more entertaining.

2. Only in India you can shelve the most unsuccessful cricket captain for a uninspired, intellectually challenged, yes-man. Finally when this moron resigns you continue to ignore Sourav for a milk-guzzling newbie.

3. Will someone tell Ravi Shastry that he really doesn’t make much sense. He looks better when he doesn’t speak.

4. Only in India cricket team captain’s must-have qualification is to be a yes-man and he will be selected by a pawarful ignoramus.

On politics:
1. Feel free to do everything against Ram’s followers. Only don’t publicly deny Ram. After all with that even Muslim-vote-banks may not help you to win the elections. Hai Ram!

2. I know the immense pain when competent & accomplished people are ruled over by incompetents. I deeply feel the pain that Dr. Venugopal & AIIMS is going through.

3. In India politicians are solely guided by one (two for ruling party) crucial policy. The sole guiding policy for an opposition is how you can make life inconvenient for the ruling party and / or get more sound bites during election campaign. The policies for the ruling party are guided by two factors and in that order:
1. How much is in it for me?
2. How much sound bites can I get out of this during election speeches

Someone asked me: Show me God?
I told him: Show me an honest politician and I will show you God.

Note: I do believe God exists. However God is about realization. Show me God is an irrelevant question.
