How To: Tata Indicom Online Bill Payment

Tata Indicom now allows you to pay your bills online using your credit card or using your net banking account. As a Tata Indicom Broadband customer this is a big convenience for me. Read the details below.
How can you pay your Tata Indicom bill online?
You can pay your Tata Indicom Broadband bill by the following simple steps.
- Go to the Pay Bill section: Logon to www.tataindicombroadband.in, click on the My Account tab, choose the Pay Bill option.
- Enter the amount and select the payment option: Enter the amount you wish to pay and select the online payment option, either credit card or net banking. For your convenience, the last bill amount is displayed.
- Pay your bill: You will be taken to the payment gateway to make the transaction and once completed will be shown a confirmation page.
Which Credit Cards can be used for bill payment?
Only VISA and MasterCard credit cards are accepted. The payment gateway requires the card holder to be registered for
- Verified by VISA (VbV)in case of VISA credit cards. Verified by Visa (VbV) is an initiative by VISA to make online credit card transactions safer and more secure. It validates the card holder’s identity by a password that is entered during registration for Verified by VISA.
- MasterCard SecureCode (MSC) in case of MasterCard credit cards. MasterCard SecureCode (MSC) is an initiative by MasterCard to make online credit card transactions safer and more secure. It validates the card holder’s identity by a password that is entered during registration for MasterCard SecureCode.
How can you register for Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code?
You can register for Verified by VISA / MasterCard SecureCode either at:
- The credit card issuing bank’s website, OR
- At the VbV / MSC enabled payment gateway, at time of completing a transaction
Which banks are accepted for payment through Net banking?
The following banks are accepted for payment through Net banking:
- Axis Bank (UTI Bank)
- Bank of Baroda
- Bank of India
- Bank of Punjab
- HDFC Bank
- ICICI Bank
- IDBI Bank
- IndusInd Bank
- Kotak Bank
- Punjab National Bank
I am peeved and surprised that State Bank of India is not in the list. But this is a good start to be sure.
