Free Weblog Hosting Signup at WordPress.Com

WordPress.com has finally opened for free signup by everyone. You no longer have to be a privileged invitee or a Flock user or use my hack to get an invotation. It is free as in Blogger.

Personally I think it is not much better than Blogger.com. Wordpress.com uses Wordpress Mu, a product which is like a crippled brother of Wordpress.

Yes they will also host your pages for free and presumably without limitations.

BTW: Their signup page is open to abuse as it doesn’t use any CAPTCHA. I wonder how long it will take before it is filled with Splogs like Blogger.
