Google AdWords Chief to Join Facebook

 In a recent turn of events, Google Inc. AdWord chief, Grady Burnett would be switching to the online ad sales division at popular online social network Facebook Inc. He had been in charge of Google’s AdWord office based in Michigan, since its inception in 2006. He would take charge of the Palo-Alto based Facebook’s  global online and inside sales that is said to have about $ 500 million in revenue in 2009.

He had been in charge of Google’s AdWord office based in Michigan, since its inception in 2006. He would take charge of the Palo-Alto based Facebook’s  global online and inside sales that is said to have about $ 500 million in revenue in 2009.
Burnett would take office later this month. He has to report to chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg. Mike Murphy, Facebook’s vice president of global sales would continue to control advertising from brands or created through ad agencies. Google would be replacing Burnett by Mike Miller in Ann Arbor.
