Have you captured a scenic landscape or of kith and kins or a self-portrait with your digital camera? Where do you upload to share the pics? Well! searching for the popular photo organizers, I had Google’s Picasa. It hold a lot for organizing and managing digital camera. Of course, it excluded the Mac users . Not until recently, Mac-disciples could only access standalone Picasa Web Album uploader and an iPhoto plug-in. Things changed at the MacWorld ‘09 when Google announced the release of fully featured Picasa for Mac users. Something to smile about in an otherwise boring MacWorld revelations.
Most of you shoot the picture and share it with your family and friends through online web blog or email. With the release of Picasa for Mac you can now share your pics with just a snap of finger. The full-release Picasa allows advanced features for sharing and syn pictures. it is pretty-much like the same standard Picasa used currently.
With Picasa you can now edit the pictures. Locate the pictures from anywhere in your hard disk and import them to the Picasa library automatically. This is not all, you can do almost photo editing from balancing the colors to collages.
Picasa for Mac is still in Goolge labs waiting for a grand release. Well! I must mention, to run Picasa you would require a standard Intel-based Mac running Mac OS X 10.4 and above. If you don’t have that, get it done to enjoy the flavors of Picasa.
