Google to Launch Chrome OS Tablet with Verizon on “Black Friday”

After Nexus One, Chrome Tablet is the second venture of Google, related to Hardware. As per Download Squad, the upcoming tablet is expected to come with Chrome OS, NVidia’s Tegra 2 platform and sport a 1280×720 multitouch display, 2GB of RAM, minimum 32GB SSD, WiFi/Bluetooth/3G connectivity, GPS and webcam. It is being built by HTC.The launch is supposed to be on Black Friday, Nov 26 with Verizon. Verion is going to provide subsidy for the Tablet PC and the price should be lower than iPad. According to a report, the price can be as low as $100. Chrome OS is a thin-client OS, a Browser and it would heavily rely on internet usage being connected all the time. That’s why they plan to offer it in combination with Verizon.
