Taking up with feedbacks and sideswipe, Google’s making every possible effort to make sure they don’t lose out buzz about Buzz. After doing with the privacy issues, their latest realization breeds two new features to make life easier for Buzz users. Most of those interacting on Buzz are annoyed to see their posts in their Gmail inbox. Buzz conversations stack up to make the inbox more noisy. In a bid to calm down the noise Google has launched two new features that will allow the users full control over what from should appear in their inbox. We got the snaps of the two features that we’d like to share.
Full-control over Buzz comments in inbox
In the Buzz tab of Gmail settings you will be able to choose the buzz item that should reach your inbox -
- comments on posts
- comments on posts after you comment on them
- comments on posts after you are @replied on them
Explanation for Buzz post in inbox
The second feature offers explanation why a Buzz post is sent to your inbox. A message will now appear at the top of each post in the inbox explaining the reason why it is there - whether
- Someone commented on your post
- You were @replied
Additionally you have the “mute” link option that will subsequently stop the comments from bringing the Buzz conversation back to inbox. With the threads of Buzz posts stretching, this is a viable feature for user friendly interface.
These are just the first in series feature that has been designed to control the noise level in Google Buzz.
