Integrated Device says International Trade Commission rules in its favor in patent case

Integrated Device says it won patent claim
SAN JOSE, Calif. — Communications chip maker Integrated Device Technology Inc. said Wednesday that the International Trade Commission ruled in its favor in a patent case brought by LSI Corp. against it and other chip companies.
Integrated said the ITC found that LSI’s patent claims were invalid and it has ended its investigation.
LSI spokeswoman Joanne Hogue said the company does not comment on legal matters.
Shares of Integrated Device fell 12 cents to $6.31 in midday trading. LSI shares slid 13 cents, or 2 percent, to $6.52.
