Integrated Device says it won patent claim

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Communications chip maker Integrated Device Technology Inc. said Wednesday that the International Trade Commission ruled in its favor in a patent case brought by LSI Corp. against it and other chip companies.

LSI spokeswoman Joanne Hogue said the company does not comment on legal matters.

Shares of Integrated Device fell 12 cents to $6.31 in midday trading. LSI shares slid 13 cents, or 2 percent, to $6.52.
