Is Translated Pages Duplicate Content?

I have heard this questions many times from our customers who purchased either Translator Plugin Pro or Translator Plugin Gold software to autmatically translate their blogs in 41 languages. All of them are concerned if Google will penalize their translated pages as duplicate content. So let’s find out what Google has to say about this:
What isn’t Duplicate Content
Though we do offer a handy translation utility, our algorithms won’t view the same article written in English and Spanish as duplicate content.

What if i Take my same content, translate in some other language, and post the same in on some other blog? Will this help me generating traffic for my site? If we read some of the articles that are translated in some other language with the help of Google translate, we never have a proper phrasing or words with google translate but if we use simple language and then translate it, we get properly translated phrases but i faced problem when i was unable to understand the languages like Russian or Arabic. Is there any solution to solve this problem?|

@Introspective Yes, it is always good to post articles in article directories but submitting duplicate content usually penalize the websites or original content. Just spinning it properly and submitting it to article directories is a wise solution. |

I used to publish my articles, but now I wander should I stop doing this, because the risk of duplicate content penalty. Should I stop publish my articles on article directories? |
