Google Apps Marketplace has made it possible for 2 million Google Apps customers to discover, purchase and deploy integrated business applications and related professional services. In the latest blowout, Memeo announced Memeo Connect for Google Apps that will be available on the Google Apps Marketplace.  Memeo Connect is a desktop service using which the users can access, migrate and synchronize different file types with Google Docs, including the Microsoft Office files. Google Apps Marketplace will allow Google Apps domain administrators to easily add their Memeo Connect desktop service to their domain.

Director of business development at Memeo, Spencer Chen, provides an introspection on the current SMB scenario. According to Chen, “The SMB market is a massive but highly fragmented market,”. By integrating Memeo Connect into the new Google Apps Marketplace, Memeo has an efficient way to bring the latest offering to the lucrative SMB market. For a third-party developer like Memeo it is a unique opportunity to have a single platform that enables the company to offer SMB customers an easy way to find, try and purchase Memeo Connect.

Not just Memeo, Google is equally excited about the new integration. Google Apps Partner Lead for Google Enterprise, Scott McMullan said

It will help the IT administrators to leverage the benefits of cloud computing and extended Google Apps to meet their business needs.
