NDA to use information technology for development: Advani

NEW DELHI - BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani on Saturday said that, if voted to power, his government would use Information Technology as an important tool to bring about drastic changes in various fields.

“If the country gives us an opportunity then we will utilize the IT in social, financial, administration, health and educational fields,” Advani said.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday launched its re-designed website with some attractive features and details for tech-savvy voters.

Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held in the country between April 16 and May 13.

L.K. Advani, while not Obama, is expected to be pro-business and usher in an environment conducive to Information Technology and software industry in general.
