We must realize that despite being a underwhelming, pricey and buggy operating system, Microsoft still holds almost the 70% of the total market of operating systems. When they spend billions of dollars for researches and new technologies, may be a bit more planning and definiteness towards the goal will see them emerging with the whole concept in reality.
