Bewitched in Barcelona

No sorry. this is no sequel to Sleepless in Seatle. That is exactly what is the case of Microsoft right now. I mean how miserably stupid can a king look like? Look at Microsoft and you have your answer. With the perfect private copy of Windows Mobile 6.5 they went to Barcelona for the mobile world congress. They talked of it. They dreamt of competing with the likes of Apple iPhone and Google Android and then they lost it at the same place.

A spokesman for the Australian company Telstar, whose CEO Sol Trujillo was reportedly given the device by Microsoft to test the system ahead of the launch. confirmed the theft had happened.

One of our product executives was given the phone to test the system. He had it with him at an organised evening event and it was stolen from him – we don’t know by whom.

Microsoft was “in a panic,” according to this report, fearing industrial espionage.

After Effect

Now, what we don’t want is Microsoft to blame Google or Apple for this deed. I mean considering the helplessness and stupid the situation is, Microsoft, heave a sigh and air it off. You will have to make another version anyway. You know that no revolution is possible when its Microsoft and its products these days. They just come up with newer version. So 6.5 or 7.0, doesn’t matter.
My two cents:

Please don’t exchange top security codes in a public place and that too where pickpockets have the authority to walk in anywhere and everywhere.
