Killer Plugins for Firefox

Few killer plugins which will provide you key functionalities you enjoyed with IE and then add some great functionalities for Firefox. The best productivity boosters for Firefox I have seen and tested.

One of the reasons I still kept IE around was because Google provided Google Toolbar for IE only. With PR Google Bar that requirement is fulfilled. It provides you everything that Google Toolbar provides including the much wanted pagerank feature. And it looks better.

The other reason was because some web applications insisted on IE browser. With User Agent Switcher Extension you can easily make your browser behave like IE to the web servers (changes the User-Agent passed to the server).

If you still think you would rather have some page open in IE, then use IEView.

IE only sites are not necessarily stupid people :)
Many have IE installed as standard browser in a corporate environment. Many keep IE around for testing. Personally I too have IE in my machine. However I prefer using Firefox these days.

I’m going to try Agent Switcher. Opera has that feature and it’s great. I want to completely remove IE from my computer. I use the web widely, and there are still a lot of IE-only sites (stupid people!) so that may not be possible yet, but I look forward to the day…
