Microsoft to Launch Internet Explorer Beta Version on Sept 15

ie9 According to the recent blog post, Microsoft is going to launch IE beta version on Sept 15 at an event in San Francisco. The key features of IE9 includes support for HTML5, an improved JavaScript engine, and the ability to tap a computer’s graphics chip to accelerate text and image rendering. If you don’t want to, or can’t, install the beta, still you will be able to see its technical preview of the browser engine, which runs side-by-side with earlier versions of IE. Windows 7 and IE 9 are expected to offer the next generation browsing experience.

The software maker sent packages to reporters which contains a variety of art supplies, such as crayons and fingerpaints, inside a box with an IE logo.The launch event is going to send the message about the importance of the browser and it also indicates how keen the company is to be competitive with Firefox, Safari and Chrome. The beta version requires Windows 7 or Vista for installation and the user also needs to swap out their current installation of Internet Explorer. Additionally, the blog post commented “ Reception for IE9 has been very positive since MIX with over 2.5 million downloads of the platform previews.”
