In an interesting revelation today, Microsoft has released the top search queries on its much-hyped Google killer Bing. Yahoo was second in the line to announce its list of top 10 queries. Not much of a surprise, Micheal Jackson topped the both the lists. However microblogging giant Twitter was nowhere in the vicinity of the top 10 list searches on Bing. However, they made it to the second spot on Yahoo. Clearly, Bing is a newbie and probably appeals to the tech-aware audience. On the contrary, Yahoo thrives on a larger audience and its list exceedingly comprises of the top celebrities and pop culture.
Here are the top 10 searches on Bing
1. Michael Jackson
2. Twilight
3. WWE
4. Megan Fox
5. Britney Spears
6. Naruto
7. American Idol
8. Kim Kardashian
9. NASCAR
10. Runescape
Have a look at Yahoo’s top 10 business success-related searches of the Year. Well, there’s Twitter on second spot and Bing on fourth
1. Facebook
2. Twitter
3. Hulu
4. Bing
5. iPhone
6. LinkedIn
7. Dollar Stores
8. Palm Pre
9. Rosetta Stone
10. Kindle
That’s the list of the year in review lists, which Yahoo keeps updated.
It’s interesting to find the search engine giants revealing their top searches of the Year even before the year-end. Still there’s no clue why they made their announcement with a month to go this year.
