Raytheon wins $886 million Air Force contract

WALTHAM, Mass. — Raytheon Co. was selected by the U.S. Air Force to help improve its GPS satellites in a deal worth $886 million, the company said Friday.

Raytheon said it will develop a new control system for the Air Force that will improve the “security, accuracy and reliability” of its satellites.
