Google has been reigning the web for a long time now and they are venturing new lands to spread their roots and stronger their grip on the world.

Post the much anticipated unveilment of Google’s TV platform in May this year no further news on the same had been available. Well, the latest buzz is about the launch of the website that is going to host Google TV services. Its on air and already offering a free tour demonstrating the whereabouts of the services that Google is going to facilitate for its customers.

Preferably, three platforms where these services would be made available are, The Sony Internet TV, The Logitech Box and Smartphones. Specially, if you own one of those Google Android based phones you are to get some extra features not available other-wise. Apparently, Google has been planning each step very carefully and are expected to get away with their share of the biz seamlessly.

They will be providing audio, video services on-demand with Amazon and Netflix in store. Also in offer is Youtube where popular videos and audios can be easily found. Net browsing capability is also included. Google is facilitating a virtual desktop look and feel for your TV where you can just pick up some choiceable features that you are most likely to use everytime you log in with your television. There are quite a few apps also which are being provided to enhance usability.

But amongst all this also, there are cons as because Google has failed to provide services to all the channels and video streaming hosts. Hulu, iTunes and ESPN3 are names which aren’t involved with Google TV at present. It is quite expected that Google will go for subscription offerings to the consumers and the packages will be easily customizable.
