Calcutta Telephones Launch 625 Plan

KOLKATA, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- BSNL, the largest telecom service provider in the country, has launched a new plan for its customers in the city of Kolkata in West Bengal. The Calcutta Telephones service of BSNL aims at providing broadband internet connectivity at very low rates to the Kolkata residents. The step has been taken keeping in mind the growing number of BSNL internet service users inside the Kolkata and West Bengal circle.

The newly launched Unlimited Broadband Home combo under the Calcutta Telephones comes at a price of only Rs. 625. Not only is the service worth the money, BSNL has also announced a free installation of services in homes which do not have the broadband services, coming at a speed of 2Mbps. The new offer will however close after the 31st of this month, so people have been asked to make the most of the offer as long as it exists. The new Calcutta Telephones offer will give free downloads spanning a period of 15 days for its new customers.

The Rs.625 Calcutta Telephones plan can be availed by customers using other BSNL broadband services as well. According to the announcement made by BSNL, the existing customers may switch over to the new plan just by filing a migration request at the nearest BSNL exchange office in their respective areas. Calcutta Telephones under the BSNL Kolkata telecom network promises free landline connectivity to the customers of the new 625 plan and an assured speed of 256 Kbps.

The Calcutta Telephones services also have plans to launch the Triple Play BSNL Broadband service, using which customers can talk over the phone, surf the net and play online games all at the same time.
