Come on Google, What About India?

What’s wrong with Google and India? Did we hurt them in any way?
Google provides GMail by SMS signup in Australia, Indonesia, Malayasia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and of-course US of A. However India is not there.
Google announces Anita Borg Scholarships for Australia, first time outside USA (apply here).
Not that I have anything against these countries, in fact I visited some of them like Thailand and Singapore and simply love them, but am I wrong in feeling just a little bit like being left out here?
Ah well, I guess we are too small a country to be in their radar, like Turkey. Oh wait, Turkey is allowed GMail by SMS too.
Hello out there, Hi, take a look down here in the Indian sub-continent too. Here is a Google Map of India for your convenience. We have merely over 1 billion human population with 50,600,000 internet users as of 2005. I know that may not be much but we are increasing by a healthy 30% so far.
