Gingerbread Keyboard Comes Knocking in Android 2.2

One of the most improved section of the Android’s Gingerbread update, the incredibly intuitive and elegant keyboard is getting a release on the current generation of Android based phones.
The stock keyboard of the Android was widely criticized for being a bit messy to used. The Gingerbread upgrade saw a complete overhaul and now the updated keyboard is being seen as Androids strength. The user is required to download a simple zip file in order to get an early preview of this feature can be installed on the current Android phones just easily as one would install a ROM, theme or a Kernel. It is advisable to back everything up before installing it. However we are bound to advise you to do that before any new software is installed.
The Gingerbread keyboard is a free download for use on phones running the 2.2 version of the Android’s ROM. Droid X users however will need go to mounts and storage>mount system and then back to install .zip from sd card.
