Mozilla announced to launch a free iPhone Application that you can use to access most of your Firefox browser data on the iPhone. The name of the apps is Firefox Home which is designed for iPhone and iPod. Users will be able to access their Firefox browsing history, bookmarks, and the group of tabs from the most recent browsing session. Additionally, the app will also integrate the “Awesome Bar” for quick access to sites with less typing.
The app is supposed to bridge the data between desktop data and iPhone browser. The time frame to launch the apps has not been announced. But, it is expected that they are supposed to submit the ad in June. However, the password management features is not available in Mozillla apps despite the fact that all the data sent from the desktop to your iPhone will be encrypted. Firefox Home is going to be one way traffic. That means you can send your desktop browsing data to your iPhone, but you will not be able to send data from your iPhone to desktop browser.
