Twitter, over the years, has become the easiest and quickest way to practise and expand your social networking. So for all you iPhone users, what if you wanna use twitter on your mobile. Are you in search of the best tweet client? So here are top 7 Twitter clients for iPhone. You won’t have to look for any other application if you know about them. So here we go.

1. Hahlo

This twitter client impresses you at the very first look with excellent UI, and is quickly loaded due to its use of AJAX. The icons are of decent shape and size. The best part is it has a Send Direct Message button which is missing in most of the other twitter clients and is very helpful. There is a lot of variety in the timeline too. such as - Home, Personal timeline, Personal w/ Friends, Friends-only, Replies, Direct Messages, Favorites, Public Timeline.

The only complaining part is there is no auto refresh. All in all, hahlo is a wonderful twitter client for iPhone.

2. PocketTweets

PocketTweets is an excellent client for iPhone users because it signifies the beauty that iPhone holds. Looks stunning and the options are more than what you actually need. There is a button that’ll take you directly to the toolbar at the bottom of the page too. So a very useful application.

3. iTweet

iTweet has received a mixed reaction for amongst the users. While some have said that its extremely user friendly and has a decent enough UI with large fonts to help them use twitter better, the others have said that its not of their taste. So will it work for you? I don’t know. you should use it yourself and then let us know.

4. Twitterific

Twitterific is arguably the most favorite client for twitter users. With an excellent interface, combining simplicity with solid functionality. A hint button is also there to help the newcome with the program. Though being so immensely popular, I feel there is a lot to improve for Twitterific. I am disappointed with their inability in showing direct messages or direct replies et al.

5. Twinkle

Twinkle is a close chaser to twitterific. It is a very colorful application. Twinkle’s best trait is its location awareness. When you post to Twinkle, other Twinkle users can see what city you’re tweeting from. And a tap on the Nearby button lets you see tweets from Twinkle users near you, which is pretty cool. The other basic parts are more or less the same. Another wonderful thing about Twinkle is it uses a mediator between twitter and iPhone. So your messages are never lost even if twitter is down. It will be shown as soon as the server goes up.

6. Twittelator

Okay. This app doesn’t look that good and it doesn’t want to either I guess. If you are a no-nonsense twitter addict then this app is for you. It has almost all the features that twitter can provide. A very worthy replacement for Twitterific if you are not looking for only the UI.

7. TwitterFon

This app is relatively new. TwitterFon emerges out of the old styles of other twitter clients and really focusses on simple interface with maximum options. You can see this picture that indicates many options of it.

Nice article!

I think the Twitter client landscape has really changed in 2010. New approaches and design strategies have yielded some remarkable new Twitter clients. One in particular is TvvitterBug. It eloquently combines simplicity with great functionality and entertaining animations to give you the most out of your Twitter experience.

TvvitterBug 1.3 is currently in the approval process for release on the App Store this week. This release brings together the culmination of all the features, capabilities, and functionality most sought after in an iPhone/iPod Twitter App, including:

1. All of the power you want, without the complexity you don’t.
2. Five (TvvitterBug exclusive) user-customizable Tweet Views.
3. Up to Five user accounts easily accessible from any view through a simple drag-down menu.
4. Persistent Tweets between launchings so you can view your tweets anytime.
5. Double-Tap Instant Update to easily and quickly refresh your tweet views on demand.
6. Built-in Photo capabilities to add photos directly to your tweets.
7. Built-in Translation support using any of the state-of-the-art web translation engines you choose, such as Google Translate, Yahoo Babelfish, or Promt Translator.
8. Built-in Web Access to view tweet embedded pictures and other URLs.
9. Editable User Profile, including setting a new Avatar picture.
10. Support for both “Fixed” and “Editable” Retweets – your choice.
11. Landscape support for both Views and Keyboard.
12. Automatic Language detection and display – great when you’re surfing!
13. Automatic last-state restore on subsequent launchings.
14. It also supports Lists, Spam reporting, deleting tweets, follow/unfollow, favorite/unfavorite, search of Message, From, and/or To in any timeline, Search and Trends timelines.
15. The same ease-of-use and lightning fast operation as the original version.

I think your readers would be interested in learning more about TvvitterBug from one of your reviews.
