Google Doodle Cake Marks the 12th Birthday of the Search Engine Giant

goog-cad1Google is famous for celebrating birthday of renowned people with enticing Google Doodle. When it comes to its own birthday it must be something very special. The search engine giant is celebrating its 12th birthday today with a birthday cake as doodle.

The cake was a painting of 89-year-old Los Angeles artist Wayne Thiebaud. A candle glowing brightly on the letter ‘L’ signifies Google’s dominance over the decades. And yes, it promises to continue ruling over others for the next few decades with loads of new products, features and new market.

Google was founded back on September 27, 1988 as a privately held company.

Recently Google has come up with ‘Bucky Ball’ doodle to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the discovery of the Bucky Ball.
