Google News Goes Local; How To Change

Google News apparently has decided to serve local news instead of its regular fare of U.S. centric news.

Personally I liked the old format better. Here is how you can switch.
To switch to any country you can change the value of query parameter ned. For example you can use this to view Google News for US - https://news.google.com/news?ned=us

After that you can use any other url on that page and ned=us (or your country of choice) will be automatically tagged on to the url string.

PS. It also affects RSS output.
