Interview of a B.Tech. Computer Science Graduate
By Angsuman Chakraborty, Gaea News NetworkSunday, February 3, 2008
I just finished interviewing a candidate with B.Tech. in Computer Science from W.B.U.T. University. He claimed that he knows C, Core Java & Software Engineering in his resume. After some time of interviewing, I hit on an inspiration. I asked him to write Hello World!, the simplest Java program you can think of.
He was unable to write even Hello World correctly. I then typed his code and compiled it. It failed with 2 errors. I showed him the errors which clearly indicated the problem. I then asked him to fix it. He gave up!
It is pretty appalling to see how such people can get through the B.Tech course.

I interviewed a chemical Engineer graduated from PU, I asked Ph value of tab water, and can u belive that he was unable to answer this basic question, its only one example I have other so many, but its not the revenge I just want to realize that in every community you will find these kind of people it does’t mean to under estimate the all community. Thanks |
