Google Analytics Rocks (Urchin)

No questions. Previously I wasn’t sure if it worked as the site was bogged down by heavy traffic. Today I hooked in their code and few hours later I have my stats. Not only does it work, it is a superstar.

The best analytics package I have seen so far and I have seen many. If you are using Sitemeter, StatCounter, Level 10 or any variants, they don’t even come near.

They use Flash for graphics which is ok as they use it only for interactive graphics and not for data processing (unlike Level 10) . Personally I would have liked it better if they used Java applets

I plan to gradually replace all my current tracking packages with Google Analytics.

PS. If you want to use Google Analytics you will have to wait as they are trying to add more resource to handle the unprecedented demand. You can however add your information to the queue.
