Some have also suggested that the company could be, further, looking into the antenna issue that creates problem for the current models on the market, but that is unlikely, since it stood by the design of its product in a recent press conference.
tajmahal India unveiled $30 (Rs 1500 approx) laptop on Tuesday which was designed mainly for students. Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal said that the price will come down further if more companies start manufacturing the device. The laptop is going to be available to students in 2011. The ministry expects that the prices will drop to Rs.1,000 ($20) and reach Rs.500 ($10) as new device are introduced.
broadband As per the report of FCC on Tuesday, 24 million people do not have access to Broadband in USA. The commission further disclosed at its sixth annual report that between 14 and 24 million people in the country lack access to high-speed Internet, and immediate prospects for them to access the service is not very obvious. FCC also feels that there should be a revamp of universal Service Fund, new approaches to spectrum allocation, the removal of barriers to infrastructure investment, and better broadband data collection. This is not a new suggestion. The requirement to enhance the broadband is a long time demand.
